Overview
The SX9206 is a 6-Channel human sensor for wearables and other similar applications. Key features include the advanced slider/wheel algorithm which supports two separate sliders and the high sensitivity which makes it possible to miniaturize sensors. Semtech’s Sensing capabilities enables the user to perform in/on ear detection for earbud/headphones as well as on hand detection for watch applications. Power consumption is a premium for wearable devices and SX9206 advanced power management intelligently reduces power without requiring user intervention.
