The NT23L50 is a high sensitivity transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with automatic gain control (AGC) manufactured in CMOS. The AGC enables over 34 dB of dynamic operating range, resulting in a high performance TIA designed for fiber optic applications such as BPON and OC-12 SONET.


  • Typical -33 dBm sensitivity, +3 dBm overload at 622 Mbps when used with 0.9 A/W PIN (CPD = 0.7 pF, BER = 10-10)
  • Typical transimpedance: 41 k?
  • Manufactured in low cost, pure CMOS process
  • Single +3.3 V power supply
  • Differential data outputs
  • Internal regulated photodiode bias
  • No internal ROSA VDD supply decoupling capacitor required for typical operation
  • Photodiode current monitor output – can be programmed to Sink or Source
  • Data polarity invert function
  • Pad compatible replacement for Mindspeed M02009 and Maxim MAX3665
