The GN2013A is a receive-path signal conditioner with an optional Manual Slice Level Adjustment feature which is ideal for longer reach optical modules.

Its design is based on Gennum's second generation CDR, the GN2003S. This device features Gennum's ClearEdge™ technology offering best-in-class eye quality.

The GN2013A output has the capability to compensate for losses introduced by the XFP connector and up to 4 inches of PCB trace.

Together with Gennum's line of 10Gb/s TIAs, excellent Stressed Eye Sensitivity performance is achieved at the module level.

The GN2013A device is packaged in a small outline 4mm x 4mm 24-pin, high-frequency, lead-free and green, QFN package with exposed pad.
