SC1211VX: High-Speed Combi-Sense® Synchronous MOSFET Driver for Mobile Applications

The SC1211VX is a high speed, Combi-Sense, dual output driver designed to drive high-side and low-side MOSFETs  in  a synchronous  Buck  converter. These drivers combined with Combi-Sense PWM controllers, such as Semtech SC2643VX or SC2643, provide a cost effective multi-phase voltage regulator for advanced microprocessors.

  • Transient protection for high-speed data lines to
    • IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ± 15 kV (air), ± 8 kV (contact)
    • IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 40 A (5/50 ns)
  • Array of surge rated diodes with internal TVS Diode
  • Small package (2.4 x 2.2 mm) saves board space
  • Protects up to four I/O lines & power line
  • Low capacitance (< 3 pF) for high-speed interfaces
  • No insertion loss to 2.0 GHz
  • Low leakage current and clamping voltage
  • Low operating voltage: 5.0 V
  • Solid-state silicon-avalanche technology
