The Microponder™ Testset, the SMP1000t, is used to field-test the Semtech SMP1000 and SMP2000 Microponders. It measures, for each band, the approximate transmitter output power levels, receiver sensitivity, range pulse delay, code pulse accuracy, and strobe pulse accuracy. It does not measure the transmitter’s frequency accuracy. The frequency accuracy measurement and its adjustment need to be performed during scheduled maintenance at the factory.
